Big Bang Theory
Hublot’s latest timepiece is elegant, joyful, colourful, upbeat and chic, reflecting the multifaceted and creative styles of its new women’s collection
Designed especially for women with a stone-set bezel and no chronograph, Hublot’s Big Bang Pop Art “One-click” is celebrating its eighth anniversary with a new design. Inspired by its male counterpart, the Big Bang Unico launched in 2013, the new design has a diameter of 39mm, while the screws, crowns, indices and numerals have all been restyled. As a testament to its versatility, the timepiece is paired with the “One Click” strap—a patented attachment system that allows the strap to be changed efficiently.
The watch comes in eight different faces for an infinite choice of styles. Its 39mm case is available in Hublot gold, King Gold or steel. To match the stone-set bezel, the pave version of the case is also set in diamonds, whereas for a more classical appeal to match the scheme behind the Big Bang Pop Art “One-click” idea, the dial comes in black, white, orange, rose, purple and apple green. Each of these dials has been adorned with appliqués and numerals that are illuminated with Super Luminova coating. For this initial release, the piece comes in a choice of three straps.
Another new feature in this edition is the addition of the HUB1710: an automatic manufacture movement with the date at 3 o’clock. At its heart, the movement beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and boasts a power reserve of 50 consecutive hours. For the last decade, Hublot’s Big Bang collection has proven to be a style that never goes out of fashion. With its many editions, the Big Bang Pop Art “One-click” is undoubtedly the perfect accessory for any occasion. n
