Classy Cruising
Genting Dream Cruises’ Explorer Dream is opulence on the high seas
Since dream cruises launched its first ship two years ago, the brand has gathered much international recognition. As popularity of cruises continues to rise, the brand is readying itself to cater to travellers across the Asia-pacific region by launching the new Explorer Dream in spring/summer 2019.
The Explorer Dream can carry 1,852 passengers and will be equipped with many Dream Cruises’ signatures and onboard offering, including a Crystal Life Spa, East-meet-west food and beverages concepts, leisure and entertainment venues designed to fit discerning passengers, and The Palace: four categories of luxurious staterooms with its own private facilities.
Dream Cruises’ mandate to provide only the best experience at sea is embodied in The Palace and its “ship-within-a-ship” concept. The Palace also further strengthens Dream Cruises’ commitment to offer the most exclusive experiences in distinct, signature styles that go beyond expectations. In addition, to enhance The Palace experience, the Explorer Dream ship will debut new
benefits for Palace guests to enjoy, including a dedicated Palace Kids’ programme for 2- to 12-year olds, The Connoisseurs Circle seminars and events, a city transfer service, complimentary shore excursions, and much more.
Guests will be able to enjoy all the new and premium accommodation when Explorer Dream launches in China—the cities of Shanghai and Tianjin, specifically—in the beginning spring/summer 2019. Through two, three- and five-night itineraries, the Explorer Dream will transport guests to several countries in the Asia-pacific region, such as Japan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Russia.
Then, in October 2019, Explorer Dream will take its first step to transform Dream Cruises into “Asia’s Global Cruise Line” by sailing outside Asian waters. Explorer Dream will settle in in Sydney and Auckland starting from October 27, from where she will embark on 21 seven-night weekly itineraries highlighting Queensland and the Great Barrier Reef, Tasmania Island and Melbourne, and the North and South islands of New Zealand.
