Designed by Creative Director Fabien Baron, brought to life by Lalique’s mastery of crystal, and brought to purpose by The Macallan’s highly complex, meticulously crafted single-malt whisky, M is perfection from start to finish.

Contained within an exquisite, exclusively designed crystal decanter that embodies the aesthetics of Fabien Baron’s illustrious creative vision, the resulting design takes an unexpected geometric form, which forces you to take notice of and question all perceptions of traditional decanter design. Fashioned in the highest-grade crystal, the finished creation draws on 150 years’ experience as Lalique showcases a dedication to refinement and flawless clarity. Each handcrafted, individually numbered decanter combines recognised tradition with striking originality exuding beauty, integrity, and expression at every glance.

Beginning in the spiritual Macallan home—the breathtaking Easter Elchies House—m is crafted to produce an interwoven flavour of rich, dried fruit, spices, orange citrus, and wood notes.

The attention to each note is achieved by using the smallest stills in Speyside, which allow for maximum contact with the spirit, creating the rich, fruity, full-bodied character at M’s heart. Chosen from only the top crop of the Macallan’s spirit means that M is taken from one of the smallest and most-refined selections in the industry. The final result is a masterful spirit created from only the finest cut: distinctly robust and characterful of the “new make” spirit at the heart of M.
