Pioneered by Lis and Filda Citra Yusgiantoro, The Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC) is a non-profit organisation devoted to in-depth research on the energy and natural resources sector and social initiatives on health, education, and preserving Indonesia’s heritage and culture

PYC is a non-profit organisation with a main focus on independent research covering the energy and natural resources sector within Indonesia. However, the quality of research also produces leads on providing policy solutions and recommendations in these fields on both a national and international level. PYC places great emphasis on issues and challenges in these areas that may have a significant impact on Indonesia’s sustainable development. To achieve its desired goals, PYC conducts in-depth research through projects, seminars, workshops, and conferences, while it also collaborates with public and private institutions on studies of energy and natural resources.

On the social front, Chairperson Filda Citra Yusgiantoro, with her mum, Lis, heads up activities surrounding health and education. The centre also promotes local and regional heritage to preserve it and to educate the public on the beauty and importance of Indonesia’s heritage and culture.
