Hublot has yet again made a splash—literally, this time—with the launch of the big bang unico & big bang one click rainbow, which feature a plethora of vibrant hues

Hublot’s unique and colourful Big Bang models

Defined by its keenness to innovate, Hublot began with a combination of gold and rubber before diversifying into other gems and materials that have enhanced its collections over the years. The release of the iconic, multi-awardwinning Big Bang range in 2005 paved the way for the luxurious brand to make a mark within its new flagship collections. From highly complicated pieces to simple but sophisticated settings, Hublot has seen impressive growth in its range.

In an ultra-flashy, show-stopping combination, Hublot has now launched two of its Big Bang models with all the colours of the rainbow. Eight exuberant shades showcase the physical appearance of the Big Bang Unico and Big Bang One Click Rainbow, from their dials, cases, and onto the straps. Each of its 45mm Big Bang Unico models is adorned with

388 brilliant-cut stones in all seven colours of the rainbow, while the Big Bang One Click Rainbow has 425 brilliant-cut stones on each of its 39mm pieces.

Both models are made up of baguette-cut coloured gemstones comprising rubies, pink sapphires, amethysts, blue sapphires, blue topazes, tsavorites, yellow sapphires, and orange sapphires on their bezels and cases. The bezels are polished and satin-finished with 18k King Gold. The straps and buckles been made using multicoloured alligator and black leather straps adorned with 18k King Gold and a black-plated titanium buckle clasp—a fusion of natural rubber and alligator leather. Moreover, the casebacks have both been satin finished with 18k King Gold and sapphire crystal.

Variations between the two models are observed in their dials, power reserves, and pricing. The Big Bang Unico is set with 212 coloured gemstones and features a UNICO Manufacture Self-winding Chronograph flyback movement with column wheel, whereas the Big Bang One Click Rainbow sets itself apart within 307 coloured gemstones and featuring a Self-winding Movement. As to power reserve, the Big Bang Unico has a 72-hour span while the Big Bang One Click Rainbow has 50 hours.

The only decision to make when choosing between the two timepieces is to decide on a 39mm model with a mechanical manual-winding movement and 50-hour power reserve, or a 45mm chronograph with a UNICO Manufacture movement and 72-hour power reserve.
