Andrye Setiawan closes up one book and opens up another in his career both with equal success

Becoming a full-time banker at a renowned bank in the States didn’t take Andrye Setiawan away from his passion, skills and knowledge in the food and beverage industry. Having accumulated more than 13 years of experience in the banking business, this proud alumnus of Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Bandung and Gadjah Mada University has turned his passion into a profession as the CEO of Exquise Patisserie.

While other F&B businesses have to look for investors, what Andrye did to grow and expand his patisserie is on the reverse. With his excellent management skills and extensive business networks, not to mention constant hard work and dedication, he was determined to do things independently to self-fund Exquise. Following the success of its four shops in the Menteng and Kebayoran Baru areas as well as in Senayan City and PIK Avenue malls, the tasty pastry shop will soon open its newest branches in Jakarta’s Kelapa Gading area and in Bandung city.

Using premium ingredients and delicious flavour combinations to form its luscious handmade cakes, Exquise Patisserie has become a trusted caterer for numerous largest banks in Indonesia, including some state-owned banks that serve high-profile leaders.“we are also grateful and proud to work with some of the private banks from Singapore also,” Andrye said.“the main challenge for us is about maintaining the quality in delivering premium cake products. Thus, integrating the products with excellent services to suit our upper-class client segment, staying on top of the trends, and always innovating are our keys to success.” he closed the interview with confidence.
