Behind every successful woman, there is a long journey full of ups and downs; there are also people who believe and support her. “When I hear the word ‘woman’, the first thing that comes to my mind is our roles in society,” Ivena said. “As such, I titled one of my fashion show collaborations “Women” to appreciate the strength of powerful women out in our lives.”

For Ivena, one good example of women empowering one another in the workplace was when she joined

The Clique. The brand consulting and management agency was founded and led by Faye Liu as the fashion director. “When I joined The Clique, I realized that women should not compete against each other,” she said. “Instead, we should collaborate and mentor other women to achieve goals and advance our personal growth. It is a blessing when we, as a woman, could help each other to pursue our objectives and dreams.”

Liu is also her mentor who helped her become the best person she could be and fulfil her potential in the global fashion industry. “After six years into my career, milliner Rinaldy Yunardi introduced me to Faye,” Ivena said. “Thanks to her guidance and support, my dresses have been worn by many global celebrities; Khloe Kardashian and Taylor Swift are to name a few. It was a dream come true to work with a determined and smart woman like her who trusted my talents and personal values.”
