La Prairie introduces the Science of Haute-rejuvenation through collaborative artworks to represent its beauty and power
The Science of Haute-rejuvenation by La Prairie restores the skin’s youthful and healthy glow
More than 80 years ago, Dr Paul Niehans, the Father of Cellular Therapy, worked tirelessly at La Prairie’s Clinique La Prairie in Montreux, Switzerland. Today, his pioneering rejuvenating therapies became the foundation of the brand’s continued research and serve as the basis of today’s Hauterejuvenation product.
Our skin has natural rejuvenating power based on a coordinated effort of skin cells throughout all skin layers. This system of highly-coordinated network of rejuvenating processes is made possible by signalling molecules. Haute-rejuvenation revitalises and helps support the unique ability, counteracting its ageinduced decrease. One rejuvenating process would trigger other cells to do so, which result in a cycle of rejuvenation across skin layers to fight the appearance of all ageing.
However, La Prairie does not stop there. La Prairie created Platinum Rare Haute-rejuvenation Protocol, an intensive treatment that visibly reawakens the skin, helping compensate for the loss and degradation as the body age. With Platinum Rare Haute-rejuvenation Protocol, the science of Hauterejuvenation reaches its apex. In launching the revolutionary product, La Prairie continued its collaborations with acclaimed global artists.
The collaborative effort between the brand with Japanese artist Nobuhiro Nakanishi resulted in “Eternal Circle”, a new artwork to extend his artistic journey inspired by time spent in the Swiss mountains. The art was released together with the Platinum score as composed and recorded exclusively by Max Richter for La Prairie. The marriage between Nakanishi’s flowing loops of stripes and Richter’s emotional, soaring rhythm perfectly matched with the power of Platinum Rare Hauterejuvenation by La Prairie.
