Gerakan Donor Darah Perempuan Indonesia held a convalescent plasma and blood donation along with an interactive talk show. Located inside The Tribrata in South Jakarta, the event aimed to raise people’s awareness of the importance of regular blood donation for saving lives. Even though some of the guests have received Covid-19 vaccination, all donors got tested on the spot to make sure everyone was safe and healthy. The event kicked off with a warm speech from the current Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto, and his wife, Yanti Erlangga. Head of the Central PMI Blood Donation Unit, Linda Lukitasari Waseso, then came on stage to begin the sharing session. Besides talking about blood and health issues, Linda also chatted with some Covid-19 survivors who shared their experience surviving the disease.
