Narasi Wastra, Osario and the Indonesian Heart Foundation presented an event at Patio Venue & Dining by Plataran Indonesia. Titled “A Beacon of Beautiful Minds”, the lineup of speakers were to highlight women’s role in society and showcase beautiful Indonesian textiles. The intimate event began when Beatrix Santi Anugrah, founder of Narasi Wastra, introducing indigenous fabrics and their importance today. A talk show then ensued about women empowerment hosted by Dewi Makes and Ida Budi Gunadi Sadikin, which also covered the importance of maintaining health and wellbeing during the Covid-19 pandemic. Guests then enjoyed a beautiful trunk show featuring intricate batik and kebaya creations from Narasi Wastra with shoes and jewellery by Osario and Manjusha, respectively.
