Smells Like Summer
Zesty, floral, earthy ... this summer’s perfume releases capture the warm scents of citrus gardens and sun-kissed skin

GUCCI THE ALCHEMIST’S GARDEN 1921
Master perfumer Alberto Morillas marks 100 years of Gucci with 1921, the latest addition to the maison’s Alchemist’s Garden collection of vintage-inspired perfumes. Created in collaboration with
Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele, it has all the makings of a sweet Italian summer: at the heart of the fragrance is neroli flower, lifted by limone cedrato and oakmoss for an earthy finish. The vintage apothecary-style bottle, dressed in Gucci green glass, of course, looks like a treasure you might find in your nonna’s vanity.

TOM FORD SOLEIL BRULANT
Few scents say summer like the smell of warm sun rays hitting the tanning lotion on your skin (we hope you’re using reef-friendly sun care products this season).
Soleil Brulant by Tom Ford captures the scent of sun-kissed skin with top notes of bergamot, mandarin orange and pink pepper, with hints of honey, amber and leather.
The unisex fragrance is dressed in an all-gold bottle that will give your summer glow a run for its money.

CHANEL COCO MADEMOISELLE COLLECTION ÉTÉ
The classic Coco Mademoiselle eau de parfum switches gears for warmer weather with a lighter, limited-edition release under Chanel Beauty’s new summer collection, Coco Mademoiselle Collection Été. “I wanted to highlight the summery side of Coco Mademoiselle,” says Olivier Polge, Chanel’s perfumer-creator.
The ultra-feminine blushtoned fragrance blends scents of jasmine, rose and orange, complemented by bolder notes of patchouli and vetiver.
