JAL revamps Haneda first class lounge

Japan Airlines has opened its refurbishe­d first class lounge at Tokyo Haneda airport. Located on the fourth floor of the Internatio­nal Terminal, it features the Red Suite – a quiet zone offering a library of travel and culture books, and a shoeshine service, provided by luxury bootmaker John Lobb. There is also a teppanyaki station, where you can order skewers, sushi, Black Berkshire pork and Japanese black beef hamburger steaks, and a bar serving Laurent-Perrier champagne and Hasegawa Saketen sake. Other facilities provided include massage chairs, shower rooms, a small private area called the Gallery Room, and a play area with a chess set and table football. jal.com
