The hour hand, which is connected to the date window, can be moved without affecting the minute and second hands, while the three-day power reserve can be monitored on the newly designed circular indicator viewed through the sapphire crystal caseback. Water resistant to 300 metres, the Luminor has a winding crown with a locking lever made of brushed steel, contrasting with the polished steel of the case and watch. It has a black leather strap with ecru stitching, and a spare rubber one for when you go diving.
