Alitalia unveils new business class seat

-

Alitalia has debuted its new-look business class on two A330 aircraft operating to and from Abu Dhabi.

The carrier’s new business cabin, which is being rolled out across the long-haul wide-body fleet, has 22 fully-flat seats in a 1-2-1 layout, each with direct aisle access.

The Poltrona Frau leather seat is 1.85 metres long when reclined and has a massage function, universal power and USB sockets. Wifi and a revamped in-flight entertainment system will also be progressively introduced on long-haul aircraft.

From July, business class passengers will be provided with Frette bedding, Ferragamo amenity kits and Richard Ginori tableware, and can avail of the Etihad “Dine Anytime” service (Alitalia is part-owned by the Gulf carrier).

Alitalia has also unveiled its new livery. It features a bolder tailfin, while the green band is absent from the fuselage for the first time. alitalia.com
