I’m a Gold Card holder with British Airways and have been for many years, flying most weeks. I also have a severe nut allergy. However, still in 2018, British Airways’ systems don’t seem to notify the crew of this. Every flight, shortly after take off I’m greeted with a glass of champagne and a large bowl of nuts

staring back at me, as if to say, “I’m going to kill you!”

On two occasions over the years I have almost had to use my EpiPen on board, due to my craving for the Hotel Chocolat that used to be served (party my fault, I’ll give British Airways that). Surely in this day and age it wouldn’t be too much for British Airways to incorporate something of such importance into its on-board iPads?
