I have just landed at Heathrow, flying in from Singapore, business class on an A380. Singapore Airlines sets the bar extremely high in terms of levels of service from cabin crew. There’s a reason why it’s a serial award-winner. Cabin crew are always friendly, respectful and address people by name. They are always happy to chat and help wherever needed. In my many flights with Singapore Airlines, they have always delivered.

On this flight, my power socket was broken. I actually saw this as a relief, deciding that it was a sign that I should watch a movie instead of working. The crew understood, but still gave me a voucher to compensate me for this problem. I had not complained, but they did it anyway.

I am very happy with the normally excellent level of service, but this was over and above and makes me an even more vocal advocate of Singapore Airlines being simply the best airline to fly with. Richard Jeffreys, Singapore
