BRITISH AIRWAYS REPLIES:

Business Traveller - - INBOX YOUR LETTERS -

The safety and welfare of our customers is always our priority, and we take the issue of allergens very seriously. Owing to the nature of the ingredients and processes used in kitchens around the world, regrettably, we can’t guarantee that our meals will be completely free from traces of any allergens. Additionally, other customers on a flight may bring their own food and snacks on board, which means we’re unable to guarantee an environment completely free from allergens.

However, we provide a wealth of information on ba.com and urge anyone who suffers from a severe allergy to advise our cabin crew of their condition so that they provide any support on board.

Our crew can also make an announcement to inform customers, and to ask those in the vicinity to refrain from eating nut products.
