So, in the biggest upgrade in a generation, we have introduced the Electrostar and Intercity Express trains to our fleet, offering you an enhanced experience and making sure every trip is productive.

Across the new fleet, you’ll find more seats and tables, and better accessibility, with additional space for wheelchairs. The new trains also include air conditioning, reading lights, at-seat power and complimentary Wi-Fi. There’s extra storage space, to make carrying your work kit and tech easier, with deeper overhead racks, more storage room near the doors and wall-mounted hooks to keep your work clothes looking smart.

The Intercity Express trains will complete their roll out by 2019. Comfort levels have been boosted via ergonomically designed seats and greater legroom. No need to stock up on supplies before you travel – a Pullman on-board restaurant is available on selected routes, and GWR’s new trolley service provides at-seat food in both standard and first class. GWR will keep you up to speed, too, with improved LED information screens providing journey details inside and outside the train.

Our new-generation fleet offers greener travel, with state-of-the-art engineering that means emissions and noise pollution are kept to a minimum.

Make the most of your time – take the train with GWR and make business a pleasure.
