Part of the Leading Hotels of the World collection, the Anandi opened in July last year. Located in the Hongqiao district near the Suzhou River, it has 325 rooms and suites, and eight villas. BULGARI HOTEL SHANGHAI
Comprising a former government building from 1916 and a 48-storey tower surrounded by gardens, this hotel is on the banks of the Suzhou River near the Bund district. It has 82 rooms, Italian and Chinese restaurants, a whisky bar and rooftop terrace. bulgarihotels.com
