AIRBUS CALLS TIME ON A380

AIRBUS HAS SAID IT WILL STOP

production of the A380 superjumbo in 2021 owing to lack of demand. The final blow came in February when Emirates reduced its outstanding orders for the aircraft. Qantas also cancelled an outstanding order for eight A380s. The double-decker aircraft has struggled to compete with more fuel-efficient and longer-range models.
