Breitling is celebrating the golden era of commercial aviation with its new capsule collection of Navitimer 1 Airline Editions – an ode to the pioneering airlines of the 1960s and 1970s. The watchmaker has heritage in the aviation industry, supplying chronographs both in the form of pilot wristwatches and for flight decks. The collection launches with a Navitimer

1 B01 Chronograph 43 Swissair Edition in April, with the airline’s logo printed on a transparent sapphire caseback. There’s more to come, with carriers Pan Am and TWA to appear on future timepieces. The watches are priced at £6,530.
