I flew Singapore Airlines return business class DubaiSinga­pore-Melbourne and was impressed with the service from Dubai to Singapore. The crew knew the wine and were very attentive.

On the older A380 to Melbourne, service was patchy and the crew not as attentive. At first I put it down to just one bad flight, but the service on our A350 return flight to Singapore from Melbourne was even worse. We did Book the Cook for all sectors, and while the beef tenderloin was done to near perfection on the way over from Dubai, my partner’s beef on this flight was rock hard.
