SALABKA RESTAURANT AND WINERY

A hidden jewel of Prague, Salabka is a delightful complex with an outstanding fine dining restaurant, its own boutique vineyard, winery, distillery and superb apartments on the hillside of Troja, the Prague suburb. Excellent wines and spirits have been grown and processed here since the 13th century. The modern history of the Salabka vineyard began in 1955 when the planting of the new vines took place. Tomas Osicka, a young winemaker, looks after the local winery. The exceptional wines have already received multiple awards, such as the AWC Vienna competition and Vinalies Internationales in Paris. Modern cooking by head chef Petr Kunc, with many years of experience in the UK’s Michelin-starred restaurants, focuses on local ingredients and producers. The best quality wild game or local freshwater fish are staples on the menu. Imaginative meals are seasonal, full of flavours and textures. Salabka is included in the Michelin Guide Main Cities of Europe.
