New-look Raffles Singapore reopens
THE ICONIC RAFFLES SINGAPORE has fully reopened after a two-year renovation project. The hotel, with its distinctive white exterior and grand lobby, opened in 1887 and has seen many an illustrious guest visit during its history, including Rudyard Kipling and Charlie Chaplin. Works have added extra suites, a spa, new retail options and restaurants as well as refreshing the existing spaces – including the popular Long Bar, birthplace of the Singapore Sling.
