DELTA AND VIRGIN BOOST UK SERVICES

-

JOINT VENTURE PARTNERS Delta Air Lines and Virgin Atlantic have announced a raft of new and increased transatlantic services for next year. Virgin will launch a daily Gatwick-New York JFK route on May 21, while a new Delta-operated service from Gatwick to Boston (pictured) will begin the same day. The airlines will increase capacity between Heathrow and JFK by 15 per cent from March, with three daily services from Delta and five from Virgin. Virgin will boost its Heathrow-Seattle service from seven to 11 flights per week, and LA will rise from 14 to 17 flights. In May, Delta will return to Manchester, taking over Virgin’s seasonal Boston route and increasing it to daily.
