TAJ OPENS SECOND DUBAI HOTEL

TAJ JUMEIRAH LAKES TOWERS

launches in Dubai at the end of this month, providing competition to existing properties in the Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT) development: the Bonnington, Pullman and Movenpick. The 200-room hotel is set across floors six to 16 of a 46-storey building (separately run apartments take up floors 17 to 44), but also has a bar, restaurant and open-air pool on the top level. There are five restaurants in total, including a branch of all-day venue Shamiana, which has been in operation at Mumbai’s Taj Mahal Palace hotel since the 1970s. Situated alongside Sheikh Zayed Road and close to Jebel Ali, JLT also has an easy link to Dubai World Trade Centre via Damac metro station. It’s the Indian brand’s second hotel in the emirate, joining the Taj Dubai.
