WIZZ AIR and RYANAIR are set to launch the same two routes out of London Southend. The carriers will both commence flights to the Romanian capital Bucharest and the Lithuanian capital Vilnius in November.

VIRGIN ATLANTIC has announced a codeshare partnership with Brazilian airline GOL, ahead of the March 29 launch of its London Heathrow-Sao Paulo service.

LOGANAIR will launch several routes next year. Flights from Aberdeen to the East Midlands and Norway’s Haugesund will begin on February 24, a Glasgow-Cardiff service will start on February 27, and Newcastle to Bergen on April 26. It will add a summer service between Newcastle and Guernsey on May 23.
