The winners of the Business Traveller Awards

For everyone in the travel and hospitality industry, this has been a turbulent year, with the Covid-19 pandemic continuing to affect all parts of the sector across the globe. And yet, thanks to your support, the industry has come out fighting, with travel providers stepping up their cleaning protocols, rethinking service delivery and investing in contactless technology to help us to navigate the new normal. For this reason, the Business

Traveller Awards 2020 feel particularly meaningful. Voted for entirely by you, the readers, the awards celebrate the airlines, airports, hotels, rail operators and car hire companies that have truly made a difference to your travelling lives. Voting took place between April and July and was based on readers’ experiences over the previous 12 months. New for 2020 are awards for the best in-flight food and beverage, in-flight entertainment, new airline seat, travel app, and credit or payment card for travel.

Completely independent, the awards have been running for more than three decades and are widely seen as the leading accolades in the business travel industry. There is no pre-selection by the Business

Traveller team and all of the data provided by voters is analysed by a market research company to ascertain the winners.

While we could not hold an official ceremony this time owing to the current Covid-19 regulations, Business Traveller editorial director Tom Otley and Panacea Media’s managing director, Julian Gregory, and group publisher, Rania Apthorpe, presented recipients with their trophies in October – here are our worthy winners.
