A US$60,000 holiday for a charitable cause
In its fourth incarnation, Celebrity Fight Night heads to Rome on a sixday knock- out. Brimming with extravagances and once-in-a-lifetime experiences, this lavish trip will cost you – but it’s not a completely selfish indulgence with all proceeds benefitting the Andrea Bocelli Foundation and the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center. Arriving in Rome on September 6th, the experience starts with dinner on the rooftop terrace of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel Cavalieri (your five-star home during the trip) and entertainment from The Band Perry and The London Essentials. Rest well that night to be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed when you meet Italian President Sergio Mattarella over a cocktail at his residence, the Palazzo del Quiromale. September 8th is set to be a night to remember with performances by Sir Elton John, Andrea Bocelli, Steven Tyler, David Foster and others in one of the world’s most famous venues: the Colosseum. Clear a fuzzy head by taking a bit of a break with a shopping spree the following day, but in following with the rest of the out-of-this-world itinerary, it strays from the predictable with a visit to the Fendi flagship boutique where a behind-the-scenes tour and private lunch includes the opportunity to design your own fur or Fendi handbag. Finally, the AMBI Media Group’s gala takes place on September 10th at Cinecittá, a film studio and the hub of Italian cinema, where a set of Caesar’s BC-era Rome has been reproduced and will be your backdrop during dinner and dancing to live performances by Andrea Bocelli, Reba McEntire, David Foster and others. You’ll depart the next day with an experience that redefines la dolce vita. The donation for this trip is US$60,000 per person if flying on the private charter from NYC JFK airport, or $51,000 if arranging your own flight.
