PRINCESSES, SUPER HEROES, AND CLASSIC CHARACTERS
Whether you’re a fan of princesses or super heroes, there’s no shortage of characters when sailing with Disney Cruise Line. With scheduled opportunities to interact with Disney characters throughout the sailings, families can also expect spontaneous character moments aboard the ship as well on Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay.
From Mickey Mouse to Donald Duck and even Olaf, the friendly snowman from Frozen, families can keep up with character appearances via the Personal Navigator or the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.
Other special character events take place on select sailings, such as the Royal Court Royal Tea with little ones being crowned princesses and royal knights before enjoying afternoon tea with both modern and classic Disney princesses (additional fees apply).
In 2018, select sailings on Disney Fantasy will feature Star Wars Day at Sea, which includes a themed deck party and fireworks display, character interactions, photo opportunities, and themed food and drink menus. From Chewbacca to Stormtroopers, don’t forget your camera for this unique sailing.
Separate from the Star Wars Day at Sea, Disney Fantasy is also now home to Star Wars: Command Post, an immersive space where participants can train with members of the resistance, including BB-8. Training includes missions against the First Order.
In addition, Marvel fans can sail with Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, and Spider-Man on select sailings and enjoy appearances by Star-Lord, Gamora, and Groot from Guardians
of the Galaxy. An immersive show featuring Doctor Strange enlists guests to help battle against the Dark Dimension.
