TRAVELERS WITH PHYSICAL CHALLENGES

often have to overcome several speed bumps before truly enjoying their vacation. Fortunately, the structured nature of cruising has given these travelers more control in their luxurious surroundings. The only thing that’s essential to plan ahead is the right mobility equipment to take aboard. Enter Special Needs Group.

Two things fuel the success of Special Needs Group (SNG): A passion for travel and a strong conviction that everyone should be able to experience it. From cruise lines to amusement parks, SNG is the travel industry’s ultimate purveyor of special needs equipment that has aided in creating more enjoyable, accessible vacations to over half a million clients. Their latest innovation for cruising, SNG White Glove Service™, takes all of the planning and guesswork that comes with renting mobility equipment out of the client’s hands. Vacations have never been more effortless.

Introduced in September 2018, guests traveling aboard Carnival Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, and Oceania Cruises (with plenty of other cruise lines on the way) now begin and end their cruise vacation with an SNG Guest Experience Ambassador™ who will personally deliver and demonstrate the equipment prior to embarkation and receive the equipment after debarkation, curbside. All guests have to do is notify SNG of their arrival in the port via phone. The rest is taken care of.

When it comes to experiencing the best the world has to offer, the sky (and sea!) should be the limit. With service in 215 ports within 68 countries, the travel possibilities with SNG are boundless. SNG White Glove Service™ currently services round-trip sailings from Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Los Angeles, Long Beach, Boston, Van- couver, Tampa, Port Canaveral, Baltimore, Mobile, Galveston, San Juan, Seattle, New York, and Norfolk in the United States and Canada. Internationally, this service is offered in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Civitavecchia, Copenhagen, Piraeus, Rotterdam, Southampton, and Venice, with more ports anticipated to be added.

Special Needs Group has succeeded in “Delivering an accessible world™” since its inception in 2007. The addition of SNG White Glove Service™ just made cruising with a disability a little more enjoyable, or perhaps even possible.
