Porthole gets literal with Literally Anika on the perfect photo op, Dubai hotspots, and more!

Your Instagram is chock full of gorgeous imagery. What do you look for to create these perfect shots? Do you take all these shots yourself?

I guess when visiting a location, you always want to visually figure out what hasn’t been done before. It can be difficult since I’m on my own a lot of the time. If tech issues pop up like Bluetooth not working, it can be frustrating. That being said, it’s so much more rewarding to do it yourself because you get to use your own skills to create something. I think shooting is a lot more fun for me than posing.

What is the silliest thing you’ve ever had to pack? (for photo ops or vlogging sake) Once I was creating some Halloween content for Royal Caribbean and I had to pack a whole Transformer outfit into my suitcase! Another guy I was with was packing a full- on pope outfit. It ended up being a pretty funny night! Having grown up in Dubai, what popular tourist attraction lives up to the hype?

One thing I would personally recommend is the SkyHub Paramotor (a motorized paraglider). The experience was so unbelievably breathtaking, I can't even begin to describe how much I loved every second of it. I’d also recommend visiting the Burj Al Arab. It's a very iconic hotel and nothing short of spectacular!

You post a lot of wellness-themed content. How has your lifestyle as a constant traveler affected your own wellness regimen? Traveling has opened me up to so many new health and wellness experiences and since I am already into the subject, I actively look out for anything health and fitness related while I’m away. One of the first things I look at when staying at a hotel is if it has a decent gym. Luckily all the cruises I’ve been on have great gyms so no complaints there. In terms of food, my diet is more of a lifestyle now and I don’t have to think about it, but that doesn’t mean it's not difficult. Especially when you’re surrounded by delicious desserts all the time!

Of course, being a cruise magazine we have to ask, what’s your most memorable cruising experience?

I think I’d go with Harmony of the Seas when I did the 2- week sailing from Barcelona to Fort Lauderdale. That was a crazy experience! I’d never been on a ship that long in my life, but as I was creating content for Royal Caribbean, I was able to really explore the ship fully. We even got to see the Captain's Deck and get onto the helipad! # winning
