Finding your way to Cinque Terre

Italy has dozens of cruise ports. A day- long shore excursion from La Spezia’s port is not enough time to enjoy everything that Cinque Terre has to offer, but planning two days before or after an Italian cruise should offer you enough time to savor all of the five villages. You can take a train to La Spezia Centrale from Rome's Termini or Ostiense stations (approximately 3- 4 hours) or from Florence’s Campo di Marte or Santa Maria Novella stations (approximately 2- 3 hours). Transfer to the regional train for the short ride to any one of the Cinque Terre villages. During summer, you can also take the ferry to Cinque Terre from La Spezia's harbor.
