and hospitality making expansion in the country a priority. While there is still much work to be done to address the immediate challenges of building and sustaining a luxury brand in the Nigerian market, companies that do break the mould, with fresh thinking and an innovative approach to doing business in the country, will turn challenges into opportunities.

The evening will start with a panel discussion chaired by David Pilling, Africa Editor at Financial Times, with an agenda that will shine the spotlight on the ‘Business of Luxury’ in Nigeria. In any discussion about Africa, Nigeria remains at the forefront and this event presents a platform for high-level discussions between business leaders from Nigeria, the UK and the global luxury industry, alongside global thought leaders and industry experts.

Following the Panel Discussion, there will be a selection of Company Presentations by members and partners of The Luxury Network. Please get in touch for more information if your company would like to participate in this.

This event is by invitation-only, as spaces are limited, but please do visit the website theluxurynetwork.ng to register or to enquire about partnership or advertising opportunities.

The Luxury Network Australia’s China Division welcomed their members to the first of a series of seminars exclusively offered to provide insight into the Chinese market and its consumers. With recent reports from Mckinsey and Ogilvy, the seminar presented key findings from the research and provided a look into the habits and behaviours of the world’s most significant luxury consumers. Members learnt about the latest insights and trends on the lucrative Chinese luxury consumer and how this implicates businesses within Australia, followed by a Q&A from a panel of industry experts.

We look forward to welcoming you all to our next seminar, which will feature tutorials on Wechat in our Wechat Masterclass.
