-

Iran and Romania are holding a joint cultural exhibition in the Romanian capital, Bucharest. Iran-romania Dialogue of Cultures Exhibition is underway in the Bucharest Village Museum in Romania until December 20.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Iran’s Ambassador to Romania Morteza Abutalebi said that both art and culture play a significant role in showing the cultural similarities of nations and are important for promotion of peace, cooperation and dialogue, IRNA wrote.

He noted that focusing on similarities would lead to a mutual understanding and better realization of the differences.

Both countries’ artworks including carpets and ceramics with the themes of flowers and birds are on display at the exhibition.

A number of clothes designed by Myna are also on view and have been highly welcomed by visitors.

Ambassadors of Indonesia, Tunisia, Algeria and Jordan, as well as officials from the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and the heads of a number of Romanian think tanks and other well-known figures of the country visited the exhibition.
