Moscow hosts photo exhibition to mark 40th anniversary of Islamic Revolution

An exhibition featuring hundreds of black and white and color photos taken by Iranian photographers opened at the Islamic Center in Moscow on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the victory of Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution.
Iran’s Cultural Attaché in the Russian Federation Qahreman Soleimani described the exhibition as an overview of the formation of the Islamic Revolution and the events of the past 40 years as recorded by Iranian photographer, IRNA wrote.
He hope for cooperation between Iran and Russia in the field of photography.
Director of the House of Photographers of Iran Ehsan Baqeri, who took part in the inauguration ceremony, pointed out that the fair presents the ups and downs of the Iranian nation over the past 40 years.
Meanwhile, the Iranian Embassy in Bosnia-herzegovina released a book in Bosnian language about Iran’s achievements during the last four decades.
The publication coincides with the 40th anniversary of victory of Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution.
The book, titled ‘Proud of the past, hoping for the future’ includes several essays on the country’s accomplishments since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Iran’s political structure as well as the rights of minority groups.
The compilation also takes a look at foreign investment opportunities in Iran and tourism in the country.
“The Iranian nation is proud of its achievements such as denial of royal dictatorship, gaining independence, and religious democracy among others,” according to the preface of the book.
“The Iranians are also happy that various plots of the world’s arrogant powers haven’t been able to stop their revolution,” he added.
