Moud Garden Castle exquisite monument in Sarbisheh
One of the famous castles in Iran’s eastern province of South Khorasan is Moud Garden Castle in Sarbisheh.
Moud Garden Castle is located 30 kilometers from Birjand, the provincial capital, in Moud City, Tasnim News Agency reported.
Moud is a historical city in the southern part of South Khorasan along the Birjand-zahedan Road.
Moud Garden has a famous monument that has the potentials of being transformed into a major tourist attraction in the region.
The major parts of the garden are its fences, towers, entrance gates and the old house. Eyecatching paintings decorate the buildings.
The garden of Moud Castle is a unique monument with speci¿c and artistic architecture, one of which is the changes that have been made throughout history. In fact, this monument dates back to the Zand Era and changes have been applied on it over the other periods.
In 2000, Moud Garden Castle and Moud House was registered as Number 3462 on the list of national monuments.
