$3.5b in FDI approved: Official
The Foreign Investment Board of Organization for Investment, Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran (OIETAI) has approved foreign direct investment (FDI) in 150 projects involving about $3.5 billion since March 21, 2018.
Ahmad Jamali, the managing director of OIETAI told IRNA that since mid-2015, Iran has witnessed numerous visits by foreign delegations.
He said that following the implementation of Iran’s nuclear deal with the major countries of the world, the organization granted the necessary permits for foreign investments and paved the ground for activities by these companies in Iran.
