‘Bubble’ wins three main awards in British fest

The Iranian short film ‘Bubble’ won three main awards from the Artisan Internatio­nal Film Festival. Directed by Mahmood Arib, the short film won the special mention of the jury, the best writer, and the best design awards, IRNA reported.

The film depicts a man who emigrates without prior notice and his mother refuses to take his calls.

The film has previously scooped several awards from different film festivals, including Ostia Internatio­nal Film Festival in Italy and Intimalent­e Ethnograph­ic Film Festive in France.

It has also received Best Film, Best Filmmaking and Best Screenplay awards from FFTG festival 2020 in New York and Best Short Documentar­y from Berlin Indie Festival 2021.
