Re­gional States Un­der Fire for “Treach­er­ous” Si­lence Over Is­raeli Crimes

TEHRAN - Is­lamic Revo­lu­tion Guards Corps (IRGC) Com­man­der Ma­jor Gen­eral Mo­ham­mad Ali Ja­fari de­cried the in­ac­tion and si­lence of some “treach­er­ous” re­gional coun­tries on the Is­raeli regime’s crimes against Pales­tini­ans and said they are com­plicit in the op­pres­sion.

Speak­ing to re­porters in Tehran on Tues­day, Ma­jor Gen­eral Ja­fari con­demned the killings of dozens of the “op­pressed peo­ple” of Pales­tine on Mon­day and said, “The world is full of op­pres­sion by the oc­cu­py­ing Zion­ist regime and the United States.”

He fur­ther de­plored the in­ac­tion of some re­gional coun­tries on the mas­sacre of Pales­tini­ans and said “the treach­er­ous states” that are self-pro­claimed ad­vo­cates of Is­lam are com­plicit in the op­pres­sion against the op­pressed peo­ple of the re­gion, in­clud­ing the Pales­tini­ans.

The Gaza Health Min­istry said nearly 60 Pales­tinian were killed and more than 2,700 oth­ers in­jured Mon­day, in­clud­ing 1,360 by live fire. Of the wounded, 130 are in se­ri­ous or crit­i­cal con­di­tion. It was the dead­li­est day in Gaza since a 2014 cross-bor­der war.
