In­ter­na­tional call for the con­struc­tion of Tabriz largest in­land city park

The con­struc­tion of Army street’s over­pass with a fore­cast of 150 bil­lion Ri­als of credit

The mayor of Tabriz 3rd district an­nounced the con­struc­tion of the largest in­terur­ban park with a to­tal area of 10 hectares in this re­gion of Tabriz with the aim of re­vi­tal­iz­ing the north­ern metropo­lis of Tabriz.

En­gi­neer Mo­va­hed­niya men­tioned the con­struc­tion of Army street’s over­pass as one of the other projects un­der study and said: “We are try­ing to con­struct this bridge with a novel and dif­fer­ent plan for which 150 bil­lion Ri­als are es­ti­mated”. The mayor of Tabriz 3rd district, in a pri­vate con­ver­sa­tion with our re­porter, point­ing out that 253,000 peo­ple are liv­ing in this re­gion of Tabriz and ex­pressed that: “Par­tic­i­pa­tory and cul­tural dis­cus­sion in the ad­min­is­tra­tion of city af­fairs are among the im­por­tant is­sues of the mu­nic­i­pal­ity that has been ne­glected so much, so that as long as peo­ple do not feel own­er­ship of the city, the mu­nic­i­pal­ity will face a lot of prob­lems. In this re­gard, the dis­tance be­tween the mu­nic­i­pal­ity and the peo­ple should be re­duced”.

Cul­ture halls are at the dis­posal of women.

In the case of women, the cul­ture halls are at the dis­posal of women and the sta­dium of Mashrouteh and Kowsar park lo­cated in Maran are al­lo­cated to women. This cen­ter, which is the most equipped traf­fic train­ing hall in the north­west of the coun­try, is ready for any co­op­er­a­tion with the chil­dren’s ed­u­ca­tion cen­ters. In this cen­ter, we can in­tro­duce chil­dren from an early age with an ap­pro­pri­ate driv­ing cul­ture which leads to a calm so­ci­ety in the fu­ture. In the whole prov­ince, 70,000 stu­dents have re­ceived the nec­es­sary train­ings in year 96 and the share of this cen­ter is 25,000 stu­dents.

The trans­fer of army troops was one of the im­por­tant is­sues in this re­gion.

The mayor of Tabriz 3rd district added: “With the de­mo­li­tion of build­ings in the garrison of the army, seven lay­ers of em­bank­ment are car­ried out that will be made avail­able to peo­ple af­ter as­phalt­ing and the tab­u­la­tion op­er­a­tions in or­der to stream­line traf­fic.”

The north­ern gar­den of Tabriz is re­stored.

He also pointed out that the park with a to­tal area of 10 hectares will be con­structed in this re­gion of Tabriz and em­pha­sized that: “This park will be built be­tween the post of­fice and Azadi Street, which will be­come the largest in­land city park in Tabriz”. Mo­va­hed­niya said: “The re­vival of “North­ern Gar­den” of Tabriz is one of our most im­por­tant plans which the best ideas and de­signs have been put into the in­ter­na­tional com­pe­ti­tion and re­call to ben­e­fit from the views of the ex­perts and peo­ple for re­viv­ing the past of this re­gion”.

The mayor of Tabriz 3rd district stated that: “Green space and a hectare of land be­tween the mid­dle belt­way and Azadi Street are con­sid­ered for the ur­ban train and park­ing whose con­struc­tion will be car­ried out soon”.

Ne­ces­sity of ex­pand­ing the lo­cal parks

The mayor of Tabriz 3rd district an­nounced an­other part in the re­vival of Tabriz’s his­tor­i­cal con­text and said that: “The lands of Imami Gar­den of Tabriz are owned in the past and its im­per­fec­tions are about to end. Also, five bil­lion Ri­als are con­sid­ered as credit which can be sig­nif­i­cantly ef­fec­tive in the tourist at­trac­tion”. Mo­va­hed­niya said: “In this re­gard, the first lo­cal park in “Sa­j­jadiyeh” neigh­bor­hood will be im­ple­mented which has al­ready made 80% of phys­i­cal progress”.

He men­tioned the bud­get of the 3rd district mu­nic­i­pal­ity in an­other sec­tion and said that: “60% of the mu­nic­i­pal bud­get is re­lated to cur­rent ex­penses and 40% is as­signed to the con­struc­tion costs”. Mo­va­heniya said: “This year, the bud­get od Tabriz 3rd district mu­nic­i­pal­ity is es­ti­mated 300 bil­lion Ri­als which has not in­creased much com­pared to last year. Ac­cord­ing to the ap­proval of Tabriz City Coun­cil, 30% of the tolls have been re­duced and 50% re­duc­tion of tolls has been con­sid­ered spe­cially for the “Elahiyeh” and “Zamzam” ar­eas”.

In­vest­ing is the only way to save the mu­nic­i­pal­ity for cre­at­ing sus­tain­able re­sources

The mayor of Tabriz 3rd district con­tin­ued to con­sider the in­vest­ment as the only way to save the mu­nic­i­pal­ity for cre­at­ing sus­tain­able re­sources and em­pha­sized that: “Rules on in­vest­ment fa­cil­i­ta­tion should be ap­proved, although a stylesheet is avail­able at the mo­ment”. The use of sus­tain­able re­sources, ap­ply­ing pri­vate sec­tion funds in ur­ban man­age­ment and peo­ple’s par­tic­i­pa­tion in the ad­min­is­tra­tion of city af­fairs are very im­por­tant is­sues that should be strength­ened in mu­nic­i­pal­i­ties.

The ne­ces­sity of launch­ing an elec­tronic mu­nic­i­pal­ity

He added that: “In this re­gard, the In­for­mat­ics Unit is ac­ti­vated and we co­or­di­nated with the peo­ple’s ser­vice of­fices to ex­pand the mu­nic­i­pal ser­vices in these of­fices in or­der to elim­i­nate the need of re-en­ter­ing the peo­ple in the mu­nic­i­pal­i­ties”.

As­sign­ment of 50 bil­lion Ri­als of credit for as­phalt district 3 ur­ban

Mo­va­hed­niya also con­sid­ered the es­sen­tial as­phalt in the city as one of the mu­nic­i­pal­ity’s other pro­grams and stated the: “This year, 50 bil­lion Ri­als have been al­lo­cated to the es­sen­tial as­phalt in the streets of this re­gion which is widely ex­e­cuted in these ar­eas with fa­vor­able weather con­di­tions”.
