TEHRAN – More than 500 retirees of the IRGC visited Babasheikhali water purification installations of Isfahan. The CEO of the water purification plant Mr. Gorji welcomed the visitors and admitted the city is facing water crisis. He said people should know that due to the fall in precipitation in the current year, water resources have been limited as he can say there is no enough water, adding that optimal water consumption is recommended in this current situation.

He went on to say that allocation of potable water has increased by 50 percent because of unprecedented precipitation in the tributaries of Zayanehroud which have direct impact on the output of water from the water purification plant. He noted that the process will definitely have impact on supplying water in 56 cities and towns and 300 villages. Gorji reiterated optimal water consumption is the major factor for sustainable access of people to potable water in the first quarter of the year. He added that if consumers do not save water, they will face water problem in the summer. He urged people to use less water during bathing which will help the company to control the water consumption. He added that some auxiliary devices can be used for reducing water during consumption.
