TEHRAN – The CEO of Persian Gulf Star Oil Company (PGSOC) Mr.Mohammadali Dadvar says the U.S. sanctions on Iran’s refining industry have low impact, adding that most of spare parts for the PGSOC are domestically manufactured.

On the eve of the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, Dadvar hailed achievements of the country in the oil industry and termed it magnificent.

He said that one cannot easily ignore endeavors of Iranian engineers and personnel in the oil industry especially the PGSOC’s invaluable role in safeguarding national interests. He further said that the company by boosting efforts has increased gas production from the joint gas fields of South Pars.

Dadvar noted that the efforts also paved the way for completion of phases one and two of South Pars and full operationalization of phase 3.

He reiterated that such achievements have surprised foreign experts. Dadvar also reiterated that there is no need to be concerned about sanctions because the country is so progressed that it can manufacture its required spare parts for refineries and the PGSOC can use domestic-made spare parts.
