TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli condemned the terrorist attack in the country’s southeastern port city of Chabahar as “a savage act” and said the US, Israel and some terrorist regimes in the region are behind the attack.

In a message released on Thursday night, Rahmani Fazli expressed deep sorrow over the terrorist attack in Chabahar, which killed two people and injured 42 others.

“This savage act demonstrated that the evil hegemonic system would spare no sedition and conspiracy against this honorable nation (Iran),” he stated.

“The shameful defeat of the U.S., the Zionist regime (Israel) and the terrorist governments in the region that support them, who feel angry over their inability to hit the Iranian nation’s independence and freedom through imposing cruel sanctions, has led to their moves to target our beloved compatriots with their deceived stooges…,” the message read.
