Change of Bat­tery at Oil Trans­fer Cen­ters

TEHRAN – Old bat­ter­ies in the 63/6 Kilo­volt elec­tri­cal sub­sta­tions in the Sho­ha­day-e Tang Fani and Shahid Gha­lan­dari (Baba Hos­sein) oil trans­fer cen­ters were re­placed with new ones.

Ac­cord­ing to the pub­lic re­la­tions of the Ira­nian Oil Pipe­line and Com­mu­ni­ca­tion Com­pany Lorestan Dis­trict, head of the elec­tri­cal en­gi­neer­ing unit of the com­pany said that since those bat­ter­ies were made of Nickel and Cad­mium and due to its age, they needed to be re­placed with new ones in or­der that op­er­a­tion for the safety of the equip­ment does not face any prob­lem.

Ali Karami added that the prob­lem in the bat­ter­ies and their old age has led to some power out­age and prob­lems in the sys­tem of the oil trans­fer sys­tem.

He added that due to the ef­forts of the en­gi­neer­ing unit, all old and worn-out bat­ter­ies were re­placed with new ones which are good qual­ity and even cheaper than the pre­vi­ous ones.
