Tehran gallery to open with “Reprise”

TEHRAN – A gallery will be in­au­gu­rated in Tehran on Fri­day with an ex­hibit ti­tled “Reprise”, which will show­case a col­lec­tion of cal­lig­ra­phy works and paint­ings.

Ira­nian and Is­lamic mo­tifs are the com­mon el­e­ments among the art­work se­lected for the show, Ko­lah­duzan Gallery an­nounced in a press re­lease on Mon­day.

Works by vet­eran artists such as Mo­ham­mad Eh­sai, Nas­rol­lah Af­jei, Yaqub Em­da­dian, Fara­marz Pi­la­ram, Reza Mafi, Hos­sein Mahjubi, Sadeq Tabrizi, Manuchehr Ni­azi and Gizela Varga Si­nai have been se­lected for dis­play at the ex­hibit.

The ex­hi­bi­tion will also hang art­works by Ho­j­jat Amani, Me­hdi Hos­seini, Maryam Salur and Davud Qan­bari.

The art­works will be on view un­til De­cem­ber 14 at the gallery lo­cated Saya Build­ing near Tenth Al­ley off Mosad­deq St., Dast­gerdi (Za­far) St.

The gallery has been es­tab­lished by Seyyed Hamzeh Ko­lah­duzan.
