NI software to keep Red Bull team on track
FORMULA One team Red Bull Racing will use software from a top Newry tech firm to analyse real-time in-car data to improve results and performance.
First Derivatives’ Kx technology is used to “capture, integrate and analyse vast quantities of data to provide real-time actionable insight”.
The business said it will initially be deployed for the “capture of wind tunnel data... before being utilised for handling real-time in-race data to improve analysis capabilities”.
It comes as the listed company cracked the £1bn valuation mark.
