THEATRE Christmas tales with a twist

-

Theatre at the Mill, Newtownabbey

Until December 31, 7.45pm Geordie Bailey is an ordinary Belfast bloke who has always wanted to travel and see the world. But the farthest he ever got was a fortnight in Portsalon.

He’s the manager of the Lower Falls Credit Union. Savings, loans, you name it, Geordie will sort you out, and we all need a bit extra at Christmas, right?

On Christmas Eve, life takes a turn, with dire consequences for Geordie. Luckily for him, a less than angelic angel appears to show him the way. Hopefully Geordie will discover that it’s a wonderful wee Christmas after all. Suitable for ages 16-plus.

A Christmas antidote for grown-ups, this show is a shot of festive spirit with all the trimmings — a combination of panto, nativity, carol service, a wandering baboushka, and much more as comedy duo Caroline Curran and Julie Maxwell delve into the recesses of the festive season.

It promises to be a funny, thought-provoking and novel take on the stories we think we know so well. Show is suitable for ages 16-plus.

For box office, tel: 3752 1821.
