ULSTER RATINGS
Louis Ludik
As reliable as ever on his 100th appearance for the province, it was fitting he had another dependable performance on his milestone night.
Robert Baloucoune
Excellent way to announce himself in the Ulster back three again as he was always a handful in attack, took his try well and made his tackles.
Matt Faddes
Grabbed a brace of tries and was generally one of the most dangerous players, switched between centre and wing to devastating effect.
Stuart McCloskey
Playmaker for the majority of the first half, kicking through for Faddes’ first score and providing Baloucoune with excellent skip pass.
Craig Gilroy
Was overshadowed by his wing partner and well marshalled by the Scarlets defence who clearly saw him as the danger man. Saw yellow late on.
Bill Johnston
Provided some pinpoint cross-field kicks that kept the Scarlets constantly guessing in the first half. Unfortunate to see little ball in the second.
John Cooney
Showed great awareness for his try and was at full flow offensively in the first half in another display that will further his Ireland claims.
Eric O’Sullivan
Perhaps not quite as prominent as his colleagues in the loose, but was still busy and was a key part of the dominant front-row.
Rob Herring
Perfect at the line-out and strong at the scrum, if he needed a performance to convince Andy Farrell to include him for Ireland, this was it.
Marty Moore
Continued to show why he’s so integral to this Ulster team with another big set-piece display, backed by a more prominent game in the loose.
Alan O’Connor
Key maul turnover in the first half and was his usual dependable self in defence, would have liked to be more prominent with ball in hand.
Kieran Treadwell
Can always be relied upon for go-forward ball when carrying and that was once again the case as he came onto the ball at pace frequently.
Matthew Rea
Will have been delighted to get his first score for his province in another hard-working display in what is becoming an ever impressive season.
Sean Reidy
A quiet performance for Reidy, who tackled like a Trojan once again in doing the unseen work off the ball, but never got the chance to carry much.
Marcell Coetzee
Was able to show off more of his offensive capabilities in this game and proved a handful all night for a dismal Scarlets defence.
