A WOMAN from here pocketed a £50,000 prize and drove away in a new campervan courtesy of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

Nicola Telford from Co Tyrone appeared on the ITV show on Saturday evening, being wheeled onto the set in the back of her new wheels.

Worth almost £140,0000 in total, the prize first went up for grabs two weeks ago.

Viewers watched as presenter Andi Peters introduced the competition victor.

He said: “Our winner has come all the way from Northern Ireland, this is our lovely Nicola. Congratulations!”

The presenter asked Nicola, who grinned in the back of her new campervan, how many times she had entered to win the prize.

“Just once, by text!,” she told the audience.

Meanwhile, This Morning presenter Cat Deeley, who is married to Co Down comedian and Late Late Show host Patrick Kielty, made a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Takeaway.

She appeared as narrator to a “dread-time story”, marking a rare link-up with Mcpartlin and Donnelly, as the trio used to present Saturday morning show SM:TV Live in the early 2000s.

In the segment, Ant and Dec — dressed as monsters — caused chaos under Deeley’s direction, with the duo describing her “as stern as ever”.

Deeley has had a significant year, stepping into the presenter’s role on This Morning, while her husband assumed the helm of RTE’S leading programme.

Earlier this month Ben Shephard and Deeley said they were “thrilled” to kick off their first show as the new permanent presenters of This Morning.

The duo took over from Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, who co-hosted ITV1’S flagship morning programme together for 14 years before they both left in 2023.

‘Have the best time. You’re going to be amazing and we can’t wait to watch’

Former Good Morning Britain presenter Shephard and So You Think You Can Dance host Deeley helm the ITV show from Monday to Thursday, with Alison Hammond and Dermot O’leary presenting on Fridays.

Opening the show, Shephard (49) said: “Hello, it’s Monday March 11, welcome to a brand new week.

Deeley (47) said: “We are so excited to be here… this show has been a huge part of our lives for so long, so to be actually standing here with you, it’s good.”

Shephard agreed, saying: “It is very special, we are thrilled to be here.”

He also thanked those who sent them messages of support.

Among those were Ant and Dec, who provided a “word of warning” to Shephard.

Donnelly said: “Have the best time.

“You’re going to be amazing, we can’t wait to watch.”

Mcpartlin added: “A little bit of a word of advice for Ben about Cat, because we’ve worked with Cat. She might be all sweetness and light but that girl can party, don’t think she can’t.”

Donnelly joked: “Keep the lock on the drinks cabinet.”
